Autopsy of a Crime Lab Book Guide
While working at Pitch Story Lab, my UX and graphic design team was tasked with creating an interactive book guide for author Brandon L. Garrett. The book guide would include images, textual information, and videos. We were told to use the book cover to inform the style of the book guide.
Project Brief
A teammate and I created wireframes of the WordPress site using the material in the pdf book guide. I designed three out of four total wireframes seen on the right. We used a red and grayscale color palette to match the book cover and keep the website serious and academic with a bit of color. I alternated the visual and textual content on the pages to make the scrolling experience feel dynamic and interesting.
Prototyping
The final book guide was built on WordPress by one of my team members. The final product looks fairly different than the approved wireframes I created because our video team produced more content than expected and the material in the pdf book guide was reorganized.
